Nestled deep in the pine forests on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim lives a mountain biker’s paradise called the Rainbow Rim. This multi-day cycling adventure will satisfy everyone from the most avid to the most novice mountain biker with breath-taking scenery, unforgettable trails and amazingly comfortable camping at a truly spectacular site. Embarking on this adventure begins from Fort Tuthill as we transport the participants, their bikes (or rentals if needed) and all of the supplies for the weekend on the 5 hour journey to a remote location on the North Rim overlooking the majestic inner canyon. Once we arrive at our destination all activities will begin and end from our base camp with tents, kitchen, camp toilet and everything you would need to relax, make bike repairs or simply re-coup from an awesome day of riding. The Rainbow Rim trail consists of over 22 miles of beautifully designed and maintained single track which winds between the dense forest and the canyon’s edge giving the rider fun turns mixed with awe-inspiring views guaranteed not to disappoint. Depending on the skill level of the group the trail is usually broken down into a series of short manageable rides and typically we have the personnel to split the group into skill levels to provide a more technically satisfying experience for all. Our guides are all trained professionals who are familiar with the trail, the area and competent in first aid, bike maintenance and any other situations which may arise in the back country. This trip is known as the southwests must ride amongst the mountain biking world and our Fort Tuthill version of the experience rivals some of the most prestigious commercial guiding companies.
