Self-Inflating Convenience
Every Therm-a-Rest mattress self-inflates by means of our patented, high-flow valve. Simply open the valve and air is automatically drawn inside. As it self-inflates, the mattress slowly unrolls until it is full after just a few minutes. Twist the valve shut, and it’s siesta time! To regulate firmness, reopen the valve slightly while lying on the Therm-a-Rest mattress. Allow enough air to escape until you reach your level of comfort, then close the valve again. If you prefer extra firmness, blow a couple breaths of air into the valve. When it’s time to get up and go, open the valve and roll up the mattress forcing air out through the valve. Close the valve and your mattress remains in a compact roll that’s easy to carry.

Thermal Foam™
Built with a solid core of special grade open-cell foam, Classic Series mattresses are designed to provide maximum insulation. Thermal Foam also has low density so it lofts rapidly and helps keep weight to a minimum. Like all Therm-a-Rest foams, it is produced near our Seattle factory permitting us to go on site for every production run. This ensures that only the highest quality foam is used in Therm-a-Rest mattresses.
